VELFAC Fire element - Fixed light
- Fire element in wood/aluminium.
- A frame and alu-cladding fixed light.
- 48-50mm 3 layer fire glazing.
- 123mm or 149mm frame depth.
Fire resistance classification:
- from outside: EI30/EW30
- from inside: EI60/EW60
Coupling options
Subzero temperatures awareness - not claimable:
- The Fire element can on site be coupled above and beside a VELFAC Fire door.
- To meet the requirements of the Danish fire test, the VELFAC Fire element may not be coupled with other window or door elements than VELFAC Fire door, however the Fire door is not sold in the UK.
Subzero temperatures awareness - not claimable:
- If the fire element is briefly exposed to freezing temperatures during storage and installation, the glazing may turn milky white for a while. This will disappear again, but it may take months to do so.
- If the fire element is exposed to freezing temperatures for a long time, for example in an unheated summer house during a harsh winter, the fire glazing can suffer permanent damage.
