VELFAC 200 ENERGY Tophung window

Suitable for low, wide windows, e.g. at basement level.
Can be used to provide a rescue opening in low, wide windows, where the top-guided windows cannot fulfil the requirement.
Available as 48mm triple glazing.

Standard fittings

An espagnolette handle, which has a ventilation position in the striking plates.
Sashes between the height of 300-369mm are provided with circular catch handles instead of espagnolette handles.
Adjustable friction arm(s) can hold the window slightly open under calm weather conditions. Sashes under 300mm in height are hung in the top brackets only and have no friction arms.
For rescue opening sashes (from frame height 620mm), the sash can be held in the open position by a catch on the left side. The catch is activated automatically at 35-55° opening depending on the rescue opening. However, the sash can be pushed further up to 85° opening to make rescue easier.
The friction arm is made of steel with a grey, corrosion-proof zinc-aluminium surface finish.

Weather warning: The window must be kept closed and securely restricted during adverse weather conditions, including strong or gusting winds, heavy rain, storms, sleet or hail, to prevent uncontrolled movement and potential damage to the product and surrounding building components.
The tophung window is not fitted with a drip cap, as this would collide with the sash, when operated.
