VELFAC Aluminium door - Security door (type 6) - SBD compliant

Door functionality
This is a typical entrance door which can be locked from the inside and/or the outside.

The handle is positioned on both sides, and when the handle is pressed the latch (top part of middle section) is released, the deadbolt is actioned by the cylinder. To secure this door overnight, it must be locked manually by operating the cylinder.

The Security door is also available with access control by using a lockbox for electric lock.

The aluminium security door is an entrance door with additional security features designed to provide increased protection from intruders.
Typical situations include main or side entrances to residential buildings.
The door is made of thermally broken aluminium profiles and can be divided by one or more glazing bars, with the resulting apertures glazed or panelled in aluminium.
The door can be installed as either single or double leafed and outward or inward opening.
Available with 24mm double or 48mm triple glazing.
The door can be coupled with VELFAC windows to create glazed entrance screens for receptions or atria.

Enhanced security europrofile cylinder, keyed external and keyed internal
Slimline barrel hinges with security adaptors (natural anodised)
TS83 door closer (not needed for SBD compliance)

DOUBLE DOORS
As above plus:

Rebated meeting style.
Flushbolt at the slave leaf.
